A sports boat approaches the bathing area at Wannsee. Suddenly several shots are fired. People scream, run and swim for their lives. Others are left covered in blood!

25 firefighters, 15 DLRG employees and over 200 police officers trained on Wednesday afternoon on the water and on the bank a “LebEL” situation – the abbreviation stands for “life-threatening operational situations”.

A police spokeswoman: “The exercises are important to prepare us for emergencies and must be trained regularly.”

The scenario posed: From a boat, an assassin opens fire with a submachine gun on the bathers.

The chaos begins. The perpetrator then fled in his boat in the direction of the city center – over the heads of bathers!

In the situation played there are two dead, eight seriously injured. Four people are slightly injured.

The exercise was observed by water protection police officers from several federal states.
