A fire broke out at the Van Triest Trucks company on the Buitenvaart in Hoogeveen this evening. Black smoke was coming from a shed on the property.
It is not entirely clear what exactly is in the shed. A bystander said vehicles were stored there. As many vehicles as possible were removed from the site.
The fire brigade from Hoogeveen, Zwinderen and Zuidwolde tried to get the fire under control. The cause of the fire is unknown. As far as is known, there are no injuries.
