At a shipyard in Meppel, a fire raged for a short time tonight. The fire brigade quickly scaled to a medium fire, but quickly had the fire under control.
Corps from Meppel, Ruinerwold, Havelte and Zwolle were called to the Steenwijkerstraatweg in Meppel. There was also an ambulance in case people had inhaled smoke, but there turned out to be no victims.
According to bystanders, the fire would have been created in a meter cupboard.
