Helsingin Meijerilikku’s Raspberry Yogurt – Finnish artisan yogurt has won silver in the French Concours International de Lyon food competition. The medal came in the range of mixed yogurts, says Helsingin Meijeriliike in its press release.
The yogurts were tasted blind in the competition, and the jury scored the products based on five different quality criteria. The raspberry yogurt garnered praise especially for its thick texture and high-quality taste.

The raspberry used in the winning yogurt comes from the Kulmala farm in Sulkavala, and the flavor has not been enhanced with essences.
Helsingin Meijeriliike is a small dairy operating in Helsinki, which is known, among other things, for gourmet cheeses and yogurts named after neighborhoods. Last year, the dairy’s Alppila cheese was chosen as the best kitti cheese in Finland.
The Concours International de Lyon awards were presented on December 2.
