Stam, who signs a three-year contract, comes from AZ’s youth academy and was part of the team that won the Youth League three years ago. AZ previously rented Stam to FC Groningen.
“We are still enjoying the promotion and I look forward to playing with the club at the highest level,” Stam responds on the Willem II website.
