Finland’s Olympic team pales next to the cream of the crop

Finland is far from the top if the composition of the Olympic teams is compared with the height of the NHL dollar stacks.

Finnish players are making money this NHL season cap with hits measuring about $117 million.

The number one on the list is the United States with just under 200 million dollars. Canada lags behind its southern neighbor by about ten million.

The combined NHL season salary of Swedish players is a little over 160 million dollars, so briskly above the Finns. The Czech remains far from the top quartet with his NHL season pot of a good 66 million dollars.

The Czech team has twelve Euroseries players, Finland has one, Mikko Lehtonen. In the US, Canadian and Swedish Olympic fences, every player is from the NHL.
