Finland closes border to tourists from Russia
Finland closes the border to Russian tourists at midnight (local time). The Finnish government expects this to lead to a significant decrease in border traffic. Russians who want to visit family or who have to be in Finland for work or study are still welcome.
Since Russia announced a partial mobilization last week, the border between Finland and Russia has been busy. Around the past weekend, 30,000 Russian citizens arrived in the neighboring country.
