Banco Galicia presented Finance by handa new 100 % free and virtual platform of financial education, especially developed for young people from all over the country to incorporate tools that allow them to make responsible decisions, from where their own rhythm are already.
The initiative arises in a scenario where 6 out of 10 young people Investments are reported through social networks, and 7 out of 10 acknowledges not knowing how to administer their economy. Faced with this panorama, the entity decided to boost a program that combines quality educational content with the academic guarantee of the University of Buenos Aires.
“We believe that financial education is an inclusion tool. That is why we design this platform that will allow thousands of young people from our country to develop skills to make better decisions.”he said Constanza Gorleri, Sustainability Manager of Banco Galicia.
The project was developed in alliance with Global eidos and proposes an inclusive, simple and flexible learning experience. It includes content on budget, savings, prevention of digital scams and conscious use of money, presented in short capsules, interactive challenges and practical tools. Everything can be done from the cell phone, asynchronously and self -managed.
In addition, users have the accompaniment of a pedagogical tutor based on artificial intelligence, which guides them during the process and allows them to consolidate what learned.
The platform also incorporated the participation of volunteers from Banco Galicia, who collaborated in the recording of audiovisual content and contributed their experience to bring financial education closer to younger ones. One of them, Lucas Saion, facilitated a workshop in a secondary school in Bragado, as part of this initiative.
A national commitment to financial education
Finance by hand It is integrated into a comprehensive strategy of Banco Galicia that this year will reach more than 25,000 young people throughout the country. Within that framework, the Financial Education Multiplier Networkmade up of more than 120 voluntary people who are already facilitating workshops in schools and social organizations in 17 provinces.
