Filipina escapes Indonesian firing squad and returns home after 15 years on death row

A Filipino woman who was sentenced to death in Indonesia and executed by firing squad in 2015 has been allowed to go home. On Sunday evening, she was transferred from her death row to a women’s prison in the capital Jakarta, from where she will be flown back to her home country.
