Filemon Wesselink bashed by colleagues: ‘Too often on television!’

Filemon Wesselink causes quite a bit of annoyance with his comeback on television. The presenter suddenly pops up everywhere. “I really think: guys, guys, buy a new Rolodex.”

We haven’t seen him for a while, but suddenly he’s everywhere: Filemon Wesselink. In particular, he regularly appears in the talk show HLF8, which randomly invites celebrities to give their opinion on all kinds of peripheral matters. It leads to slight annoyance among media celebrities Evert Santegoeds and Rob Goossens.

Too much Philemon

It’s all a bit much Filemon all at once, says Evert in his podcast Strictly Private. “How many times have I not seen Filemon Wesselink pass by last week in various programs. I then think: guys, guys, buy a new Rolodex.”

A Rolodex is an office accessory with rotating cards that contain contact information. “Don’t automatically take over the old one that was already on your predecessor’s desk,” complains Evert. “I think there are some nice talk show guests out there. But yes, I see little refreshment.”

‘He’s everywhere’

It has also not gone unnoticed by the men of RTL Boulevard. “Finally Filemon Wesselink, because you suddenly saw him on television and suddenly he can be found everywhere again. He was gone for a while and now he’s suddenly back,” says presenter Luuk Ikink in his podcast BLVD. “He did a little Valeriot, he really left for a while.”

Colleague Rob Goossens then: “Yes, but the return is not some kind of Valeriot, because he has now been in HLF8, he was in Media Inside and with both those programs I was wondering: what are you actually doing here? ”

Brilliant find

Valerio Zeno’s comeback is more successful in that respect, says Rob. “Valerio is just a genius find for Real Girls in the Jungle.”

Philemon still has to find his way according to Rob. “He still has a manager and not the least: Kristien van Dillen, who represents Eva Jinek and Rob Kemps, among others. So maybe he was thinking: that Peerke Gillis at SBS 6, it won’t be long now, so if I make sure I’m back on TV, they’ll call me for a reality series in a bit!”
