Clothing retailer Fila Holdings, part of Chinese group Anta Sports, has appointed Todd Klein as President of its North American subsidiary Fila USA Inc. The industry veteran succeeded Jennifer Estabrook, who left the company after more than 17 years.
The aim of the appointment is to “increase the brand value of Fila in accordance with the corporate goals for the North America region as part of the global five-year strategy,” the company said on Monday. In addition to increasing sales and profits, Klein’s future tasks now also include the establishment of “sustainable business structures in the USA, Canada and Mexico”.
Klein spent most of his decades-long career at the German sporting goods group Adidas AG. There he most recently held the position of Vice President of Advanced Concepts.
