Germany’s figure skating pair of Minerva Hase and Nikita Wolodin is located on the gold course at the European Championship in Tallinn after the short program. The duo takes first place with 71.59 points. Second is the Italian couple Sara Conti/Niccolò Macii (68.52 points) ahead of Maria Pavlova/Alexei Sviatchenko from Hungary (65.88 points).

The freestyle and thus the first medal decision at the European Championship in the Estonian capital will take place on Thursday (6 p.m./Sportschau.de and Discovery+).

Norwegian Alexander Steen Olsen celebrated his third victory in the Alpine Ski World Cup under extreme conditions.
