Bessemer – For the first time, American Amazon employees have succeeded in forming a union. A distribution center in New York has the scoop. About 55% of the votes were in favour. Employees of other distribution centers feel supported by the result. Amazon’s first attempt at unionization was in Southern Alabama’s Bessemer last year. There, every vote is now being fought over in the second election count there.
