The 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig missed a good starting position in the fight for promotion to the 3rd division. Against the North Master TSV Havelse, the north-east champion saved a 1-1 (0-0) in front of 10,080 spectators in the Bruno Plache Stadium in added time.

Havelse has a better chance before the return leg in the third division relegation this Sunday (1:30 p.m./Magenta Sport) in the Wilhelm-Langrehr Stadium at home. Marko Ilic (89th minute) shot the Lower Saxony late with a dream goal before the Leipzig Dorian Cevis (90.+1) met for the much -acclaimed compensation.

Lok coach Jochen Seitz had to do without his striker Stefan Maderer (16 goals) in the first meeting of both teams at short notice, who complained about muscular problems. Nevertheless, his team initially set the tone. However, the guests had the first chance in the game when Robin Müller (20th) from Halfbrechts only hit the post with a rich shot. Leipzig’s greatest option (30th) stayed in the wall in a free kick.

After the change, Lok had more game shares and again a free kick chance from the best position. But Noel Eichinger (51.) shot the ball far across the goal. Nevertheless, the Leipzig ones were full. Havelse, on the other hand, invested little in the offensive game. So the opening goal of striker Ilic (85th), who circled the ball volley in the corner, was out of nowhere. But Lok added Cevis and cheered after his goal from eleven meters.
