Germany’s record football champions Bayern Munich can take part in next year’s Club World Cup in the USA on the second day of the tournament. The world association FIFA published the schedule for the tournament from June 14th (local time) to July 13th in the United States on Saturday.

Accordingly, the Munich team will play their opening game in Cincinnati against Auckland City from New Zealand on June 15th at 12:00 p.m. local time, before coach Vincent Kompany’s team continues on June 20th in Miami against Boca Juniors (Argentina). At the end of the group, Bayern will meet Portuguese runner-up Benfica Lisbon in Charlotte on June 24th.

Borussia Dortmund will now play its first game at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the final stadium of the 2026 World Cup. At the start, BVB meets the Brazilian club Fluminense. The other games against Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa/June 21) and Ulsan HD (South Korea/June 25) will take place in Cincinnati.

Almost all group games of the German clubs take place at 12:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. local time and therefore on the German evening (6:00 p.m./9:00 p.m.). Only FC Bayern has to play against Boca Juniors at 9:00 p.m. local time, deep into the German night (3:00 a.m.).
