It was announced that the draw will be held on Monday, November 27, at the Patrick Baumann Basketball House in Mies, Switzerland.


It was reported that Luol Deng, the legend of the Great Britain national team and two-time NBA All-Star and the current President of the South Sudan Basketball Federation, will hold the draw, and the four countries that will host the FIBA ​​Olympic Qualification Tournament 2024 will be announced before the draw.


The 24 teams that qualify for the qualifiers in the draw will be distributed to one of four FIBA ​​Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, with each of the four host countries automatically participating in the tournament they organize.


Turkey did not qualify to participate in the qualifiers as a result of the FIBA ​​Olympic Preliminary Tournament.


A total of 19 countries that qualified for the qualifiers at the FIBA ​​Basketball World Cup 2023 are as follows:


Angola, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, Montenegro, New Zealand, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Slovenia and Spain.


The other 5 countries that will participate in the qualifiers by winning the 2023 FIBA ​​Olympic Preliminary tournaments held in August 2023 are as follows:


Bahamas, Bahrain, Cameroon, Croatia, Poland.
