FIBA Girls World Rankings have been announced! Where does Türkiye rank?



FIBA announced the Girls World Rankings. The USA was at the top of the list, while France was second and Canada was third. Türkiye maintained its 24th place.

USA, which became the champion in the FIBA ​​Under-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup held in Madrid, breaking a record with a 7-game winning streak, maintained its place at the top. France, which reached the semi-finals of the FIBA ​​Under-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2023, is in second place with 726.2 points.

France, which reached the finals of the FIBA ​​Under-18 Women’s European Championship in Konya, also became the champion in the FIBA ​​Under-16 Women’s European Championship held in Izmir. Canada is now in the top three with 721.1 points after moving up two places thanks to its third-place finish at the FIBA ​​Under-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2023.

Croatia, which ranked fifth in the FIBA ​​Under-16 Women’s European Championship 2023, rose 7 places to 11th place. Mali rose to 12th place with a big jump of 8 places. Mali finished fifth in the FIBA ​​Under-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup and won the FIBA ​​Under-16 Women’s African Championship title for the eighth time in a row.

On the other hand, Serbia made the biggest progress among the top 40 countries and rose 20 places to 16th place. This was due to them reaching the semi-finals of the FIBA ​​Under-18 Women’s European Championship 2023 and the FIBA ​​Under-16 Women’s European Championship 2023 quarter-finals.
