Feyenoord wants clarification from UEFA about tickets for the final: ‘This is unacceptable’ Football

The free sale of thousands of tickets started on Wednesday afternoon at noon without the Rotterdammers being aware of it. According to Feyenoord, the AS Roma supporters knew about this and it now seems that they have claimed a lot of tickets for the final.

“If that is the case, that is unacceptable,” said the Feyenoord spokesperson. “We were very unpleasantly surprised by this and immediately contacted UEFA. The football association says it will investigate it and will get back to it.”

Just like AS Roma, Feyenoord each received 3000 free tickets for the final battle in the Arena Kombëtare in the Albanian capital, which can accommodate 22,500 spectators. In addition to about a thousand tickets that the clubs could buy and which, according to Feyenoord, are intended for sponsors, partners and family of the players and trainers, 8,500 tickets went on sale at 12:00 on Wednesday, UEFA reported on its website.

“To our surprise,” says the Feyenoord spokesperson. “That UEFA is selling the other tickets is fine, but then everyone should have equal opportunities to buy them.”

Final 2023
