Hendrix has played in fourteen games since his arrival in Rotterdam, in which he scored once. The Dutchman started his career at PSV. He played there until early last year, when Spartak Moscow took him over. In 2013, Hendrix made his debut in the Eredivisie. In the winter of 2021, after 173 competition matches for the Eindhoven team, he made the switch to Spartak Moscow. He played 22 matches for the Russian club.
Feyenoord has also said goodbye to Mark Diemers. The 28-year-old player, like Hendrix a midfielder, will play for FC Emmen for the rest of the season. Diemers’ contract in de Kuip will continue until 2023. Diemers was not in Arne Slot’s plans last season either and was loaned out to Hannover 96, just like Fortuna Düsseldorf, who played in the 2. Bundesliga.
Before his stay in Rotterdam, Diemers played for FC Utrecht, Cambuur (rental base), De Graafschap (partly rental base) and Fortuna Sittard. In 2020 he signed with Feyenoord. He scored three goals in 32 games.
