Feyenoord defender Ramon Hendriks fifth summer reinforcement for FC Utrecht | Dutch football

Hendriks has been playing for Feyenoord since 2017. The left-footed defender previously played for amateur club ASWH in his birthplace Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht and for FC Dordrecht. He also played football on a rental basis for NAC Breda and made minutes for Feyenoord in eleven official matches this season. His contract in De Kuip runs until mid-2025.

Hendriks will be the number five asset of FC Utrecht this summer. Taylor Booth (Bayern Munich), Luuk Brouwers (Go Ahead Eagles), Joshua Rawlins (Perth Glory) and Nick Viergever (Greuther Fürth) already preceded him. In defence, in particular, technical director Jordy Zuidam had to urgently look for reinforcements due to Willem Janssen’s football pension and Tommy St. Jago’s serious injury.
