Fewer Ukrainians at work than thought

Employers who hire Ukrainians are not required to apply for a work permit for them. However, it is necessary to report this to the UWV. In total, more than 24,000 employers have now made such a report. In April and May, 13,200 employers made such a report, and more than 10,800 reports have been added since the beginning of June. If a refugee finds other work during his stay in the Netherlands or stops working, this must also be reported to UWV by the employer. This has happened 900 times since the end of May.
