The band is still silent on the venue and the exact date – details are to be announced in the course of the following day.

“It’s like riding a bike”

The caption says: “This, at first glance, quite inconspicuous picture means that the band Fettes Brot met for rehearsals. What can I say: It’s like riding a bike. You don’t forget it and you should wear a helmet. So it’s true… after almost 3 years of chastity it’s spontaneously getting dirty again (in HH)”

Three Northern Lights

It is no coincidence that the concert is taking place in the Hanseatic city of all places: the band members Martin Vandreier, Boris Lauterbach and Björn Warns originally come from Halstenbek, Schenefeld and Pinneberg just outside Hamburg. Fettes Brot was founded in 1992; the musicians attended the same high school. Three years later, the anthem “Nordisch by Nature”, performed partly on Platt, caused her breakthrough. Other hits in her repertoire are “Jein”, “Emanuela” and “On Days Like These”.
