From Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 August, Golfbaan is the Dutch host of the ‘Festival of Golf’, which also includes a tournament on the Hotel Planner Tour, the level under the DP World Tour.

Eleven Dutch people participate in the top sport event, including Besseling, Daan Huizing and Lars van Meijel. For them, a good result is priority, but the organization of the event also wants non-golfers to have a great experience.
That said, there are plenty of opportunities for them to come into contact with golf in a fun way through ‘Challenges’ and Clinics. For four days, not only new golf talent gets the chance to show itself, young music talent can also prove itself on a stage where Jody Bernal, Maxim Froger and DJ Charmes, among others, perform. There are food trucks and cocktail bars available to lessons.
Partner of the event, the Dutch Golf Federation (NGF), organizes regional training on Saturday and Sunday under the guidance of experienced coaches. There is also a possibility for children to participate in a pro-AM format in conditions such as pros after the official competition.
