The new configuration of the four-door Prancing Horse aims to take its sporty character to the extreme. The main interventions concern suspensions, gear changes and sound
Even sportier, but without giving up everyday versatility. The new configuration debuts with these assumptions Special Handling on the Ferrari Purosanguethe first four-door, four-seater from the Maranello company. Available on request, this configuration does not distort the soul of a model created to be used in any context, but offers customers who desire it an extreme take on its sportier character. On the Ferrari Purosangue Special Handling the main interventions in fact concerned the calibration of the active suspensionsmodified to increase the sensation of control in sequential curves, and the shifting logic. In this sense, response times were made quicker and work was done on gear changes with the intention of giving the driver a feeling of more decisive acceleration. The Prancing Horse engineers also focused on sound in the passenger compartment, with this configuration which further underlines the presence of Naturally aspirated V12especially during starting and acceleration. In addition to the technical changes, some aesthetic elements that differ from the Purosangue have also been introduced: i circles they have a specific design with new diamond cutting, the side shields are made of carbon fiber, the exhausts mounted here are in matt black. On the back there is the black Cavallino symbol, the satin Ferrari logo and inside there is a plaque that identifies the setup.

The objective of the Handling Speciale configuration is to offer customers who desire an even sportier alternative, without however distorting the heart of a car that marked a historic step in Ferrari history. The Purosangue, as the brand’s first four-door, four-seater, is also suitable for everyday use, thanks to features that remain unchanged even in the new configuration. They don’t change for example the raised driving position and the overall usability of the passenger compartment, just as the engine of this car does not change. The Handling Speciale also features a mid-front aspirated V12 engine with 725 HP of maximum power and 716 Nm of torque, in addition to the rear gearbox.
