Ferrari of more than 4 tons goes up in flames in Blaricum

A Ferrari with a price tag of no less than 4 tons caught fire yesterday on the Crailoseweg (N527) near the Langenhuizerweg in Blaricum. No one was injured in the fire, but little remains of the car.

The fire brigade received the report of the car fire at 11.45 a.m. and despite the fact that they were quick to act, it was of no avail. “The car is really completely burnt out,” said a spokesman for the security region. It is a Ferrari 599 from 2009 with a retail price of roughly 409,000 euros.

No one was injured in the fire. It is not yet clear how the fire in the fast sports car started. Because this is a one-sided incident, the fire service is not conducting any further investigation.
