Spain’s La Liga giant Barcelona has extended the contract of Samuel Umtiti, who is said to be sent from the team, with a surprise decision.
The contract of the French defender, whose name is mentioned with many teams and who is on Fenerbahçe’s list, has been extended until 2026.
Thus, the possibility of Umtiti’s transfer to Fenerbahce has been definitively eliminated.
FC Barcelona and @samumtiti have reached an agreement to extend the latter’s contract until 30 June 2026. The French defender is reducing a part of the salary that he was due to receive in the year and a half remaining on his contract.
