On 31 January 2019, a transaction was made on 30 September 2020 for the last installment of Miha Zajc’s transfer fee, which we transferred from Italy’s Empoli club, to the bank account of Empoli, amounting to 830.929.50 euros.
Following the payment request from Empoli FC on October 9, 2020, our club officials, investigating the billing address, determined that the amount in question was transferred to the account of a Netherlands-based vehicle trading company and requested a refund of this amount from the company.
Due to the Netherlands-based company’s refusal to reimburse, our club quickly filed a complaint against the relevant company before the Dutch court and applied to the court for the refund of the fee paid.
