Dfter New York and London, the baton passes to Milan. Milan Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2026/27 brings bags back to center stage, consecrating them once again as one of the strong points of Milanese fashion shows. This is where it-bags are born, those destined to enter global wishlists and rewrite the very concept of accessory.
On the catwalk, the proposals of Prada, Gucci, Fendi And Bottega Veneta (among others) oscillate between rigorous architecture and sculptural softness, precious leathers and new colours. Anticipating, with almost mathematical precision, the bags that we will see dominate next winter.
From Fendi to Prada bags: the best from MFW 2026
The bags seen at the Milan Fashion Week F/W 2026/27 speak the Milanese language: concrete, ready for anything, but extremely chic. There is a sophisticated pragmatism that runs through the catwalks. This is demonstrated by the proposals of Diesel, where the multi metal buckles and utility details transform the silhouettes into “equipped” accessories, designed for a fast-paced urban everyday life. Where even a hair clip stapled to the handles becomes a styling element.

At the opposite extreme, but always within the fashion quadrilateral, lies the bourgeois and measured elegance of Fendi. Here the lines become more geometric, the leathers very shiny, almost mirror-like. Come back there Baguettes but in a new rock look, with a double buckle on the shoulder strap, alternating total black with a lively zebra print and sequin embroidery. Worn alone or together paired with large chrochet totes: everything speaks of a femininity that does not need to be flaunted.

Goodbye neutrals
In addition to the shapes, it is also the color that defines the mood of the season. The Autumn-Winter 2026/27 bags light up with unexpected shadesstore predictable colors and choose full and sophisticated shades. From powder blue to green mint, from burgundy intense at yellow butter, fine to indigo, true queen shade of next winter.
Colors that don’t scream, but are there anyway capable of making even the most basic looks original and essential. A refined palette, among other things, also intercepted on the catwalk by Jil Sander, where the bags were tinged with deep blues and milky greens.
Next winter will be anything but neutral. The bags impose themselves as the eccentric accent on the sartorial rigor look.
