The Toledo tennis player will say goodbye during the next 2023 competing in the most illustrious courts of his career

The man from Toledo ends a career of more than 20 years on the ATP circuit

Feliciano López has announced with an emotional video on his social networks that next season will be his last as a professional tennis player on the ATP circuit.

After more than 20 years as a professional, the tennis player from Toledo assures in the video that he ends “to what one day began as an illusion”. Feli will play some of the tournaments that have most marked his career over the next year, in order to be able to say goodbye competing on the most illustrious tracks of his life.

“Tennis has been the best possible university, I take countless beautiful things with me, but one occupies a special place. The number of beautiful people I have met and have accompanied me along the way” assures the tennis player at the end of the video.

Feliciano has been combining his work on and off the slopes for years, being, among other things, the director of the Mutua Madrid Open.
