The trial for the so-called Cuadernos Cause, which investigates an alleged system of bribes in public works and has former officials and businessmen as defendants, became involved in a new controversy after the oral court in charge of the process confirmed that it will take the judicial fair in January.

As reported, the Federal Oral Court decided to suspend the hearings throughout the month of January and also left open the possibility that they would not be held during the carnival holidays either, which could further extend the times of the judicial process.

The decision generated criticism in different political and media sectors, given the institutional weight of the file and the expectations placed on the progress of the trial, considered one of the most relevant in recent years in matters of corruption.

Faced with this situation, journalist Eduardo Feinmann reacted harshly on social networks and published a direct message against the court’s magistrates. “Those judges are fourth class!!! national shame”, he wrote, summarizing the discomfort due to the interruption of the judicial calendar.

The driver’s comment reinstated the debate about the slowness of judicial processes and the impact of the fair and holidays on causes of high political impact, while the Cuadernos trial continues awaiting definitions on its schedule in February.
