Belgium will focus on maximum inclusiveness and safety for people from the LGBTQI+ community. This is evident from the ‘federal action plan for an LGBTQI+-friendly Belgium’. The plan – proposed on International Day Against Holebiphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT) by Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and State Secretary for Gender Equality Sarah Schlitz – contains a total of 133 measures to be implemented by 2024.
