Fears of humanitarian nightmare: Hurricane Melissa on its way to the heaviest category, with wind speeds of 314 kilometers per hour

Hurricane Melissa is expected to develop into a fifth – and strongest – category hurricane tomorrow morning. The hurricane is currently slowly moving towards Jamaica, where it will make landfall with devastating force on Tuesday morning. According to the weather channel ‘The Weather Channel’ it will be “possibly the strongest hurricane ever to make landfall” and threatens “a humanitarian nightmare”.
