Hurricane Melissa developed into a fifth – and strongest – category hurricane this morning. It is currently moving slowly towards Jamaica, where it will make landfall with devastating force tonight. People there are urged to seek shelter. According to weather channel ‘The Weather Channel’, it will be “possibly the strongest hurricane to ever make landfall” and threatens “a humanitarian nightmare”.
