The 22-year-old Sadilek was sent off with a red card shortly after the break in the last game before the winter break, against FC Utrecht (1-1). According to referee Richard Martens he had elbowed the Greek Anastasios Douvikas.
“The professional football professional committee has upheld Sadilek’s punishment, exclusion from three matches, one of which is conditional,” FC Twente reports on the website. The Tukkers previously did not agree with the settlement proposal of the professional football prosecutor.
Sadilek missed the home game against SC Heerenveen (2-0) earlier this month. He can return on February 13 in the away game with league-leader Ajax. FC Twente is fourth in the Eredivisie.
