Surprising departure at FC St. Pauli: Elias Saad will run for a league competitor in the future. The Hamburgers are supposed to collect a million sum for this.
Hardly any fan is likely to have expected this change: Elias Saad leaves FC St. Pauli. The 25 -year -old wing striker is now joining FC Augsburg, as both clubs announced on Thursday. He will wear jersey number 26 with the Fuggerstädters.
Augsburg’s managing director Michael Ströll said: “Elias is technically well -versed and brings dribble strength, speed and risk of gate – properties that will make our offensive game more flexible and unpredictable.” The FCA was convinced that Saad “far from exhausted” its potential.
The 25-year-old Hamburger, who runs for Tunisia’s national team (3 games, no goal), plays outside of northern Germany for the first time. “I look forward to introducing my strengths to an ambitious club like the FCA and further developing me,” he said.
