As reported by journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Paul Onuachu arouses interest among the “Iron”. The 29-year-old Nigerian was relegated from the Premier League with the “Saints”, but he could play in the Champions League next season with the Köpenickers.

In addition to the Berliners, Galatasaray and Al-Taawoun FC from Saudi Arabia are said to have the 2.01 meter tall attacker, who has signed a contract until 2026, on the list. However, a return to KRC Genk is considered unlikely. Onuachu left the Belgians in January for 18 million euros – only with the sale of Sander Berge did Genk earn more in its history. While the right-footer has struck 85 times in 134 games for the KRC, he has been goalless in 11 appearances for Southampton in the last six months.
At Union, Onuachu would be the most valuable signing in the club’s history with a market value of €17m.
