FC Schalke 04 are trying to sign Abdoul Ouattara
This refers to Abdoul Ouattara, a midfield jewel from Racing Strasbourg who is just 16 years old. According to information from the portal “Soccer transfers” Schalke, along with TSG Hoffenheim and RB Salzburg, are among those interested in the teenager, who has been playing for the Alsatian U19s so far.
It is not known what Ouattara’s chances of being promoted to the Strasbourg professional team in the near future. Should that happen, however, it might be difficult for S04 to convince the all-rounder to make a move. Transfers in the millions would be difficult for the clammy Ruhrpott club to lift anyway.
Schalke 04 signed two newcomers during the winter break: Marius Lode (central defence) and Andreas Vindheim (right winger). The two Norwegians should help to conquer one of the first three places in the rest of the second half of the season.
