At the master celebration of FC Liverpool, a car drove into a crowd. The club spoke up a short time later.
A short time later, the Liverpool FC commented on the situation. “We are in direct contact with the Merseyside police about the incident on Water Street, which occurred towards the end of the trophy parade in the early evening,” said the club in an official statement. “Our thoughts and prayers are among everyone who is affected by this serious incident.” The club assured the emergency services and the local authorities.
The other Premier League Association from Liverpool, the Everton FC, shared the statement of the city rival on X. The “Toffees” wrote: “Our thoughts are among everyone who is affected by this serious incident in our city.”
The FC Liverpool team had previously driven a 16 -kilometer route through the city and had been celebrated extensively by their own fans. The players cheered the followers from an open bus.
Liverpool had crowned the English champion for the 20th time last season. Ex-coach Jürgen Klopp was also on site at the celebrations.
