The German sporting goods manufacturer Adidas AG becomes the new jersey partner of the British Football Association FC Liverpool.
On Monday, the company based in Herzogenaurach and the current league leader of the English Premier League announced a corresponding multi -year agreement. In the coming season 2025/26, Adidas will replace the US group Nike Inc. as outfitter of the traditional club.
“From August 1, 2025, Liverpool FC will be wearing the iconic strips for the third time in its illustrious history,” says a joint message. “Adidas will deliver the match, training and leisure clothing for all men’s, women’s and academy teams as well as employees: Inside the LFC Foundation.”
Adidas has already been outfitters of the traditional association twice
FC Liverpool had already run in Adidas jerseys from 1985 to 1996 and from 2006 to 2012. According to media reports, the German company now costs the resumption of the partnership more than 70 million euros per season.
Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden recognized the agreement. “We are very pleased that Adidas and the Liverpool Football Club work together again.
