“FC Groningen is a very nice stable club in the Eredivisie that always has to play for the European places,” says the 24-year-old attacker on the website of his new employer. “It is a good step for me in the Eredivisie. I want to see how I fare at a bigger club where expectations are higher.”
It is the first new player that FC Groningen presents for the new season. It was previously announced that Frank Wormuth will succeed Danny Buijs as trainer next year.
