The whole of the Netherlands should know that King’s Day will be celebrated in Emmen this year. FC Emmen is also doing its bit and will wear a unique orange outfit two weeks before the visit of the royal family. This will happen on April 12 in the home match against MVV Maastricht.
According to the club, the orange uniforms are not the only thing that will refer to the approaching King’s Day in Drenthe on that Friday evening. For example, during the players’ arrival, several orange atmosphere actions will take place in the stands, FC Emmen will organize King’s Games on the square in front of De Oude Meerdijk on match day and the orange flag will be hoisted at the stadium.
At the beginning of next month, FC Emmen will officially reveal what the orange uniform looks like.
