FC Den Bosch once again records a victory, Willem II surprises ADO Den Haag

FC Den Bosch, the laughingstock of the Kitchen Champion Division, has won for the first time in four games. FC Dordrecht was beaten 3-1. Willem II defeated ADO in The Hague with the same figures. A good start for the Tilburg formation in the fourth period.

ADO The Hague – Willem II 1-3
The duel in The Hague had two different faces. In the first half, ADO was the better team and a lucky goal from Joël Zwarts took the lead after just one minute. After the break, the roles were reversed and Willem II dictated the game. Matthias Verreth restored the balance with a nice free kick in the 52nd minute. Then it was the game of Elton Kabangu, who had a large share in the justified Tilburg win by hits in the 60th and 67th minutes. That victory for the number five in the ranking could have been even higher.

FC Den Bosch – FC Dordrecht 3-1
2-0 after 40 minutes. That has been different at FC Den Bosch in recent weeks. The home crowd could therefore not have fun with the two hits in the match against number penultimate FC Dordrecht. The first was an own goal by Elso Brito. Faris Hammouti pushed him over, but referee Ingmar Oostrom saw no violation. In the 40th minute, Hammouti made it 2-0 without the help of an opponent. The midfielder also received a yellow card, just like Anouar El Azzouzi (FC Dordrecht).

At FC Den Bosch, captain Wouter van der Steen was under the bar again. The two previous duels, his replacement Konrad Sikking had to fish seventeen times. Van der Steen only had to take one goal against, from Tidjany Chabroi Touré. Danny Verbeek managed to decide the game in Bosch’s favor with a quick breakout in the 59th minute. After that, the home team missed a huge chance at 4-1.

PEC Zwolle – NAC Breda 2-0
NAC started without the passed top scorer Odysseus Velanas. Even with another vanguard, the Breda formation was unable to make a fist against PEC Zwolle. The leader was also not very convincing offensively. PEC even needed a gift from Sabir Agougli to take the lead. Soon after the restart, the NAC defender played the ball back too softly and Dean Huiberts knew what to do with it: 1-0. After several chances, Lennart Thy passed the verdict on the yellow-blacks in the 84th minute, who started the fourth period with two defeats.

Helmond Sport – Telstar 2-2
Helmond Sport once again showed character and fighting spirit in its own Braak against Telstar. Although the North Holland team got off to a better start and also managed to score twice (by Christos Giousis, 13., and David Min, 46.), but the Helmonders did not want to give up. Club top scorer Martijn Kaars brought back the tension in the 51st minute and Elmo Lieftink even made it 2-2 in extra time. Telstar had been playing with ten men for some time after a stupid red card for goal scorer Giousis.

TOP Oss – Heracles Almelo 1-5
For one half, TOP held its own against the number two in the ranking, Heracles Almelo. After the break, the lights went out quickly for the Osse formation. Rigino Cicilia scored in the 50th minute and 11 minutes later it was already 0-3 thanks to two goals from Nikolai Laursen. The TOP supporters feared a bigger defeat, but attacker Jearl Margaritha did not speak for the first time this season. Substitute Kyvon Leidsman narrowed the gap on his instructions. In the 81st minute, Heracles veteran Marko Vejinovic gave his team a 1-4 lead with a great volley, after which Laursen completed his hat-trick in extra time. Only Jong Ajax has conceded more goals against this competition (58) than TOP (54).

Young PSV – De Graafschap 2-1
Young PSV initially did not play against De Graafschap, which seemed to continue its advance in the Kitchen Champion Division. The Doetinchem team took a deserved 0-1 lead in the 26th minute thanks to Basar Önal. In the second half, the Eindhoven promises showed their good side. August Priske Flyger reinforced this by equalizing in the 58th minute. It was also the Dane who pressed the ball over the line with his chest in the final phase and thus managed to make the decisive 2-1. Jong PSV was lucky that a bet by Jeffry Fortes was turned through the post in the closing seconds.

Young AZ – FC Eindhoven 1-1
It was not very exciting what Jong AZ and FC Eindhoven presented to the 390 spectators. The teams did not do much for each other and that was also reflected in the final score. The hits came from Ro-Zangelo Daal (1-0) and Jasper Dahlhaus, who took the 1-1 with some fortune from a free kick. After thirty rounds, FC Eindhoven is the number six.
