FC Chelsea expenditure exceeded the mark of 300 million euros. The reason for this is the commitment of Alejandro Garnacho by Manchester United. For the 21 -year -old wing striker, £ 40 million, the equivalent of around EUR 46.2 million, is due. This increases the expenditure of the blues to EUR 325.85 million – only in the seasons 2022/23 (630.25 million) and 23/24 (464.1 million) were even higher.
This summer, only the Liverpool invested more with EUR 339.68 million and this sum should still be significantly climbed in view of an impending change of Alexander Isak for EUR 150 million. Garnacho, who received a contract until 2032, comes to the Londoners for the Red Devils after 144 games (26 goals, 22 templates), in which he is the eighth Argentine in club history. You should also have secured a ten percent resale clause.
“It is an incredible moment for my family and me to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started. I saw the club world championship and it is something special to come to the world champion-we are the best team in the world! It is fantastic to be here and I am very happy,” said Garnacho.
