FC Bologna won the Italian football trophy with an unexpected final victory against AC Milan. In the Olympic Stadium in Rome, Bologna prevailed 1-0, the only goal scored Dan Ndoye in the 53rd minute.
For the AC Milan with professionals like Christian Pulisic, ex-Frankfurt Ante Jovic or Theo Hernandez on the square, the defeat was another damper in an already disappointing season.
The team is eighth two games before the end of Serie A and has three points behind the European Cup places. Bologna is seventh in the league. It is the first big title for the team since the 1974 cup victory.
