FC Bayern with next EuroLeague defeat

The basketball players of FC Bayern Munich are dragging themselves towards the end of the regular season in the EuroLeague.

The German runner-up lost 74:99 (36:49) to Armani Milan on Friday evening, it was the third defeat in a row and the 19th on matchday 30.

There are still four games to go, but Munich had already lost sight of the playoff ranks in the past few weeks.

As a result, the team coached by Andrea Trinchieri cannot repeat the successes of the past two seasons, when Bayern reached the quarter-finals of the premier class. At least since the defeat against the BBL rival Alba Berlin (75:76) a week ago, another leap into the play-offs was out of reach.

Like Alba Berlin (9:21), Munich (11:19) is also in the bottom of the EuroLeague table. Milan (14:16) can continue to hope for the quarter-finals thanks to the win.

Munich lost a possible away win in the first quarter. The guests gave up the start at 8:25, then became more stable, but ran after the deficit in vain. National player Andreas Obst was by far the best thrower in the Bundesliga with seven successful three-pointers and a total of 27 points.
