After winning the German championship, head coach Vincent Kompany first sent his stars from FC Bayern on a short vacation. While a large part of the team subsequently said goodbye, some convalescenters resumed training on Säbener Strasse on Wednesday. The Munich team will start team training again on Thursday.
It is just under a week and a half before FC Bayern will hold his first group game at the club World Cup against the New Zealand representative Auckland City FC on June 15 in Cincinnati in the US state of Ohio. Until the German industry leader will intervene for the first time at the tournament in the United States, there is still a mini preparation on Säbener Straße.
On Wednesday, Jamal Musiala and Dayot Upemacano came to the training ground to complete an individual program. Both Bayern stars are currently coming back from injury breaks.
Thursday is the first gallop for the remaining Bayern stars who are currently not on international trip with their national teams. Head coach Vincent Kompany then set up five training sessions before the Bayern Tross will go towards the USA on June 10th.
Basic camp is opened in Orlando
Only in the United States will the team be gradually completed.
Among other things, the German international around DFB players Joshua Kimmich and Co. are still denying the Nation League semi-final against Portugal and then the final or game for third place.
Arrived in the United States, FC Bayern will open its base camp in Orlando in the state of Florida. On June 14th, the trip to Cincinnati will be scheduled for the first group game.
The two other group games at the club World Cup will take place on June 21st against the Boca Juniors and on June 24th against Benfica Lisbon.
