In mid -January 2025, Talent Arijon Ibrahimovic and FC Bayern (for the time being) agreed to go separate paths. The German football record champion announced that the 19-year-old will play a loan base for Lazio Rome in Italian series for six months. The contract of the offensive player in Munich ends in the summer of 2027. Around four weeks later, the step has to be given a question mark.
Arijon Ibrahimovic, who only came to three short missions for the professionals of FC Bayern in the course of the season, tries his luck until summer 2025 at Lazio Rome in Serie A. For talent it is already the second trip to Italian football: 2023 /24 he was awarded to Frosinone Calcio and played 16 games in the first division (1 goal/1 template).
At Lazio in turn, the youngster has not yet played a single minute. In five Serie-A games he was sitting on the bench for 90 minutes, and the German was not registered for the Europa League.
At least one cannot speak of progress to Ibrahimovic’s first half of the season in Munich, where he completed three short missions.
FC Bayern is said to have a buyback clause
“Arijon is a young player with a great perspective that is constantly evolving. He was able to gain valuable experiences in Serie A last season and is now supposed to take the next steps at Lazio Rome,” commented Bayern’s sports director Christoph Freund the announcement also “fcbayern.com”. However, said “next step” is a long time coming.
Incidentally, FC Bayern did not give any further details about the loan, but the “Bild” wants to find out that Lazio Ibrahimovic can hire a fix for around eight million euros in the summer. However, the Munich is said to have secured the opportunity to bring the Youngster back to the Bavarian capital for around 20 million euros. Both options currently appear unlikely.
