After being relegated from the Bundesliga, SpVgg Greuther Fürth continues to focus on the transfer market on signing talent for the 2nd Bundesliga. After the “Kleeblatt” surprisingly announced the transfer of 17-year-old Sidney Raebiger from RB Leipzig at the beginning of the week, the next youngster is now about to move to Fürth. According to the regional newspaper “Nordbayern”, Armindo Sieb comes from the FC Bayern amateurs.
The 19-year-old offensive player switched from TSG Hoffenheim to the record champions’ youth department in the summer of 2020 and made his debut for the pros right away in the DFB Cup against 1.FC Düren (3-0). Further games for the first team were not to follow due to a long-term ligament injury. Last season Sieb played 33 games for the second team in the Regionalliga Bayern, for which he contributed ten goals and four assists.
In Fürth, the two-footed professional, who can be used in the offensive area on both wings as well as in the center, is now to take the next step and is said to be coming on loan from Munich with an option to buy. The contract with FC Bayern, which ends in 2023, would first have to be extended.

Sieb will be the seventh U23 transfer this summer for the “Kleeblatt”. Before Raebiger, Sport Managing Director Rachid Azzouzi had already confirmed the additions of Jessic Ngankam (21) and Luca Itter (23; both previously on loan) as well as Oualid Mhamdi (19), Lucien Littbarski (19) and Ragnar Ache (23; loan). With Oussama Haddadi (30), only one veteran has joined the Bundesliga team, which was third youngest last season.
