FC Bayern | Special praise for tough-guy Kane: “Ruthlessly analyzes the deficits”

FC Bayern invested 95 million euros in the services of Harry Kane last summer. A successful investment, says former Munich goalkeeper Jean-Marie Pfaff.

“Kane is worth every single cent, he has become a top star, fan favorite and leader of the Bayern team in a very short time,” enthused the Belgian in his latest column for the “Abendzeitung”.

The captain of the English national team shines “not only with his goals, which he scores like on a conveyor belt,” explained Pfaff: “He also scores goals and impresses with his natural and likeable demeanor.”

After 22 competitive games in the Bayern jersey, Kane has 33 scorer points (25 goals, eight assists), and the discussions about the record transfer fee for the 30-year-old are history.

“He gets along blindly with the people next to him on the pitch – be it Thomas Müller or Leroy Sané,” explained Pfaff: “Especially with Sané, you have the feeling that he is blossoming more and more since he has Kane next to him.”

FC Bayern: Harry Kane “analyzes the deficits tough”

Kane has signed a contract with FC Bayern that runs until 2027. The goalgetter is already a cornerstone of the team under coach Thomas Tuchel.

“In times when football Germany is desperately looking for guys, Kane is someone who resonates with his style on and off the pitch. He analyzes the deficits harshly and mercilessly when things go wrong – such as in the defeats in Saarbrücken or Frankfurt,” emphasized Pfaff.

Tuchel can count himself “lucky” to have Kane in his squad. In Munich, the new signing outshines “everything and everyone” and is “ultimately the one who can make the difference when the titles are handed out in May and June,” said the ex-professional, who can certainly imagine that the Bundesliga Robert Lewandowski’s record (41 goals) is broken.
