According to “Sky” transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, FC Bayern should also look at top Portuguese talent Daniel Banjaqui. According to information from the TV station, the 17-year-old is on Munich’s transfer list.
The teenager is considered one of the most exciting Portuguese talents in the right-back position. He currently plays mostly for Benfica’s second team, and his contract there runs until 2027. The Lisbon native has already made two appearances in the Primeira Liga and was on the pitch for the full 90 minutes in his debut under star coach José Mourinho on January 25th this year.
Banjaqui has a modern right-back profile: he impresses with a lot of speed, robust physique and a pronounced offensive drive. Qualities that should fit extremely well into the requirements profile at FC Bayern.

The German U17 national team also felt his offensive drive last year. Back then, Daniel Banjaqui scored the winning goal for the Portuguese against Germany in the 89th minute at the U17 European Championship in Albania.
The personnel of Konrad Laimer will probably be crucial for further planning. His contract in Munich expires in 2027. It is still completely unclear whether the Austrian will extend his contract with the German industry leader.
